The paintings in the Organic series attempt to capture the fluidity hidden behind the reality of all forms of living organisms – from cells to microorganisms, through flora and fauna to humans.

Nature certainly has its own internal dynamics, vibrations, etc..., secrets that are not apparent at first glance.

I have always wondered how the old masters would have painted if they had experienced the liberation of painting brought by Braque, Picasso and others... Many respected painters of the 20th and 21st centuries have taken up this challenge and sometimes these new interpretations of old paintings are more entertaining than the original versions.
